MCHS Curriculum Guide

This is our current Curriculum Guide for McHenry High School.

• Objective:

  • This project is done each year to help students and parents pick out their classes. I have created this booklet to allow for both a printed version and an online version.

• Challenges:

  • Creating the layout to fit perfectly for a full bleed booklet while also aligning and linking different parts of the booklet for easy navigation and flow.

• Tool:

  • I have created a template I use within Indesign for the layout and building the file.

  • I have a student each year create a new cover that matches our assistant superintendents theme for the year. The students use a combination of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign to create the cover and back cover of the Guide.

• Results: This is a 108 page booklet that we print in house and is able to be created into an online booklet as both a pdf and booklet like what you see above.
