A Retail Incubator Program

This was a collaboration with the McHenry Chamber of Commerce, McHenry Township, and McHenry High School. We got to work on the logo and Marketing that would represent this repurposed area in McHenry, Illinois.

• Objective:

  • Create a new logo for their the Retail Incubator program. Help with Marketing Campaign to raise enough funds, gets new business in these new buildings, and to show off the new finished layouts. I was also on 3 different committees to help bring this to McHenry.

• Challenges:

  •  When designing their logo the concept of the space kept changing. Therefor our designs had to keep changing. They wanted us to create the logo before the concept of the space was completed. Once a design on the buildings would changed the logo and fonts would have to change to match. In all we had to create 35 different logos. The flyers and posters and marketing was very smooth. I had three different students help with the designs and layouts. Kaylie Kopsell, Giselle Zavaleta, and Mollie Hobson

• Tool:

  • We used Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign for Layout and design..

  • We used our Digital Press

    • We Printed 13"x19" Posters, 5.5"x8.5" Flyers, Tri-fold Brochures
      

  • They used our designs and layouts to help build their social media platforms as well as their websites.

• Results: They now have a great brand logo that they are now using on all of the print and social media. It is also proudly displayed on a large sign at the site. The flyers and posters allowed them to raise enough money to complete the project on time and has been a huge success for the Chamber as well as the City of McHenry. McHenry Riverwalk Shoppes
